iP4 vs iP5 wifi issue?

We have one of each and side by side the 4 picks up 2 of 3 bars from our home wireless router, but the 5 gets only LTE. I have always had wifi issues with the 5, but never realized the 4 was that much better!

Can anyone help me with the 5? Is there anything that can be done to improve it's wifi reception?

Do you have a weird case in the 5?

Good question. I thought about that as well, but even with no case the issue remains. There is a Magpul Exec Field case normally.

Maybe have Apple check your iPhone?

I have an iPhone 5 and it's never had any issue with picking up WiFi anywhere I find WiFi.

Might sound weird, but have you checked the firmware on your router? I know that some Apple devices in the past have had issues with certain routers, so you might want to see if your router is running the latest firmware version.
