OK,

I may be just me (but I doubt it); but why are 90% of my iPhone apps all still designed for the smaller screen?

I have I think 3 apps updated (excluding apple's own) that use the real estate.

Hell, even Engadget app is not current. What have the devs been doing since beta 1?

What gives?

The new screen size wasn't official until September 12. I've got a lot of updated apps. At last count 38 of my apps have been updated (aside from the ones included on the phone).

They're submitting quickly, some will take longer than others (games). I'd imagine within a month, about 80% of apps from major developers will be updated.

The phone's been out for 6 days. Give it some time.
