iP5 apps to iPad Mini?

Got an iPad Mini as present recently and would like to move some apps from my iP5 to the the Mini? Is it possible and what's the method to do so? Setup up Mini under same iTunes account, so I thought the apps would automatically show upon the Mini, but they didn't.

Just go to the store and download them (you won't need to repurchase them); or chose which ones you want to sync from your computer.
