Am currently in Singapore visiting friends and leave this Saturday 3rd Nov. according to the Apple website, the ip5 16GB sells for S$948, which is approximately £480. I can also reclaim about 5% of the GST tax at the airport when leaving making it even cheaper. My problem is finding an iPhone 5!
As there are no official Apple retail stores in Singapore I have to rely on resellers. Have tried about 4 so far and none have any stock. They say anything between 2 weeks and 2 months. So I tried SingTel and they do have stock, but quoted S$1380 for a non-contract ip5! Thats over £700!! Rediculous.
Anyone know of a reseller that has stock?
I'm also interested in the iPad mini, but again none of the resellers have said they will have any on Friday 2nd Nov.
Does anyone know which, if any, stores will have iPad mini stock on Friday?
