iPad 1 Accessories with iPad 2

Hi, I live in the UK so have another 2 weeks to wait for mine. Lucky Americans.

Anyway, I was wondering, when you all get your nice shiny new iPad's tomorrow will someone try them out with the old iPad 1 accessories, Mainly the Dock and VGA Cable, and let us know whether they are fully compatible or not.

Obviously I don't have mine yet, but I don't think that the original dock is compatible with the iPad 2. Here is a picture right from apple.com that shows a different dock design.

The connector is the same. But since the new ipad is shaped differently, there is a new dock design. The ipad2 would probably be usable in an old dock, but there may be some stability issues. Probably nothing that a thick piece of felt couldn't solve, though.

im wondering if the dock port connector on the dock will be long enough to connect to the new ipad 2 since the connector is now on a sloping part...may be a little too deep for contact..
