iPad 1 for $150?

My cousin is willing to sell me his iPad 1 for $150. (It's the 64 gig). I told him I would get it but I would really benefit more from the 2 for the things I do. But I was thinking about buying it and selling it to get the 2... and since the 3 is imminent (March)..hmm. I guess I'm asking for a "pull the trigger" idiot. Or just wait... or get the Amazon Fire..
