I keep getting a "iPad could not be update" because of some "Internal Error"

I don't get a code or anything.

Any suggestions?

No idea what the problem is, but I am having the same. iPad 1 64GB 3G UK version, not JB, trying to go from 4.3.5 to 5.0.

It's just overloaded servers; keep trying eventually it will work (mine took between 15-20 attempts).

Steve has only been dead a week and already Apple sucks like Microsoft

I too got the same Microsoftish cryptic error! C'mon Apple. I knew things would go to pot when Steve left. Didn't take long.

I'm disappointed in you! What a load of crap!:(

Third time lucky - tried and failed to update twice, so I restarted and tried once more. It's working now.

Seeing how as this stuff was set to happen long before Steve passed away I will assure you it would have been the same regardless.

Like EVERY Apple update, people are excited and are all downloading things at once. Just be patient and keep trying and it will work. It took me a few tries to update my desktop. Things like this happen on update day.

Worked after 5 or 6 tries for me. Given the amount of people downloading ios5, im amazed it went as well as it did really.
