whats the best way to switch from ipad 1 to ipad 2 ?

backup in itunes and restore ? my ipad1 is already sycned with another itunes... plus I have 16 GIGS of OTHER in my 32 gb ipad 1... I wanna get rid of it..plus it looks I will be fitting in without deleting any data... downgrading from 32 gb to 16 gb ....

I wanna do a fresh start on the ipad 2... and resync with some pics..

how can I move just some of the stuff from ipad 1 to ipad 2 ?

like saved photos and all imported albums ?

it looks I can't just copy those 2 folders to my itunes and copy back to ipad 2?

Just sync everything from the iPad 1 to your Mac, like pictures, contacts, etc. Then restore iPad 2 as new and sync everything from iTunes. You can get all your pictures from iPhoto if you make an album for the pictures stored on your iPad 2. I hope I answered your question.

ipad 1 originally synced with another itunes... can I sync an ipad -----> itunes ?

I always thought its a itunes -----> ipad sync...

also ipad 1 is 32 gb, ipad 2 is 16 gb...

how could 29 gb data fit in 14 gb ? by basic sync and restore?
