All,

i have managed to procure an ipad 1 for the right price (FREE)..
unfortunately it has IOS 5.0 and it has never been Jailbroken..

I was wondering if i were to Jailbreak to IPAD and i decide i do not
want to the Jailbreak, can i revert back to the stock IOS 5.0 that is currently
loaded..?

I have a iPhone 4, running 4.2.8 and know about SHSH, but am not
sure about IOS 5.0..

Thank You
Mylyf

Yes, restoring reset the device thus wiping the jailbreak. You will not be able to downgrade unless you have your SHSH blobs saved.

You cannot restore to IOS5.0 Since apple updated to IOS5.0.1 that is the only version you can restore too. SHSH blobs do not yet work for any version of IOS5.
