I want to send my iPad 3G to my Mom. I have an AT&T USA based original iPad with microsim. If I send it to Canada, could she get a SIM from Bell and put it in and subscribe to their service?
I reviewed much and it appears that the iPad was launched as 'unlocked', but if I go to Settings - Cellular Data - View Account is that a web page based on the SIM as mine is branded AT&T.
