Got one of the original iPads near release day and had it for about 3 months before selling it. Essentially it did everything my iPhone did,but a little better,and some of the things my laptop did, but worse..
Got caught up in the hype on release day and got myself an iPad 3. Im not sure what it is,but this thing is far more enjoyable to use than the first one.
The gestures are awesome, such a joy to use.
Form factor is much nicer than the 1st gen. Lighter.
The screen is superb.
It's speedy, browsing the web is a at better experience.
App store is much improved. Twitter is amazing, skygo is great.
