Hello.

Recently, I started debating whether or not I should buy an old iPad first generation, jailbreak it, and stream xbmc movies from the iPad on my tv. I have a couple of questions.

What cable will I need? Is the 30pin to HDMI Adapter enough, or am I going to need a 30pin to AV Adapter.
Do I need to install anything else on my iPad so I can view what is displaying on it, onto the tv?
Will the picture be smooth, or will it be laggy and such, if I use any of these adapters?

Thank you for your time.

The lack of ram on the first iPad concerns me. It has only 256mg of ram. Also I am not sure if it is capable of outputting HD. I suggest you get an iPad 2 or used iPad mini.

The lack of ram originally concerned me too, but I know that it can do what I asked in the OP, the question is, what configuration do I use(cable), and what third party apps do I need to install.

Thanks for the reply tho.

ps. I just saw that you're from Tdot too, lol.
