The last few beta updates I've had have had massive battery drain. If I turn off the ipad and leave it unplugged, it will go down to 0% within hours.

The battery usage always shows Siri at Messages at close to 50% of use each. At the most extreme, it currently shows Siri 52%, Messages 47% and Lock screen 1%.

I have turned off Siri (though not the options for each app as I have too many do to that with), turned off background on messages and nothing has helped.

Any thoughts? Yes I realize it is a beta.

Something is definitely wrong. I get like 1% battery drain over night and have nothing related to Siri or Messages in my battery statistics.

I know this doesn’t exactly help, but have you tried turning on airplane mode? Might help with the battery drain they’re causing.

Otherwise, you might have to reset your iPad. Even though this is a beta, nothing like that should happen.

If I turn on airport it has normal battery drain.

If I leave it on airport and even turn on wifi it goes back to the massive drain. For example I turned on wifi 1 hour and 27 minutes ago. It now shows on the battery usage section as if the ipad isn't even being turned off. It shows for example as 1:27 usage and 1:27 standby
