What was that slide with the free upgrade to iOS11?? Were they thinking of bringing back the iOS3.0 days where they charged for upgrades???

I wouldn’t read too much into it. They just mentioned the word free to satisfy the marketing department. Apple will not charge for future iOS revisions because it is in their best interest to keep everyone moving forward.
