No one here can know that. No one here even knows that it's coming out next week. This is a rumour site. Until Apple actually announces it, all anyone can offer you is rumours, speculation, and guesses.

I anticipate a price increase consistent with what we saw with the iPhone 16e. Specifically, I expect the base storage to rise to 128GB, given that Apple Intelligence uses around 7GB of storage, and to ensure a satisfactory user experience, an increase in base storage is both necessary and logical.

Apple has historically been unwilling to absorb the cost of storage increases, typically passing that expense onto consumers. Therefore, we should expect to see price adjustments across the 128GB and 256GB models.

Furthermore, I believe it’s reasonable to expect the same processor used in the 16e, the A18 chip with a 4-core GPU. Apple continues to offer a Pro and Air lineup, which allows those seeking more robust performance to choose a model that fits their needs. The base iPad, on the other hand, remains targeted at value-conscious consumers, such as students.

Personally, I am looking forward to the release, as I plan to upgrade my 9th gen iPad and my wife’s 8th gen iPad.

This makes sense but unlikely because the iPad Mini has the previous gen A17 Pro, and costs more than the current base iPad.

So if the iPad 11 gets the binned A18 chip from the 16E, then expect a price increase more expensive than the iPad Mini 7.

That traditionally has not been the case. Apple has placed a premium on the Mini since its inception. Screen-size is not always an indicator of price.
I expect the iPad 11 to initially be priced between $399 and $429 with it dropping $50-75 within 4-6 months.

Not really. The mini was considered the cheap iPad at some point with MSRP even dropping to sub-$300.

It was the mini 4 when they made it premium. That one had a $399 price tag same as the Air 2.

I'm actually expecting that to clock in at $449 which was the original MSRP of the iPad 10.

What i mean is the Mini has always had the better chipset and screen (like a mini Air), compared to the base iPad giving it a premium like you said. So if the new iPad 11 gets the A18, it will be better than the A17 Pro in the Mini 7 hence the possibility of a higher base price for the iPad 11, probably like the 16E pricing i can imagine so expect price to be above £499 (or Apple may increase prices of iPads across the board).

My feeling is it will launch at $449, then pretty much be on perpetual sale at retailers like the 10 was (and has been). Whether it gets a permanent price drop like the 10? That's a wait-and-see.

£/$ 449 for base iPad with A18 + 8 GB RAM, does not make sense when the new iPad Mini is $£499 with a previous gen A17 Pro chip.

So in theory the base iPad 11 would need to be priced above £499 to make sense, but then we are going into iPad Air M2 territory (£599). The only solution to make this work is iPad prices being raised across the board (like they did with the iPad Air 5 release in Europe) which sucks of course.
