I have a 2018 iPad Pro 2018 (3rd Gen) that seems to be draining the battery fairly quickly. For example the battery level has dropped 10% in just under one hour without doing anything but staying on the home screen. I am running 14.8.1.
I also have an Apple smart keyboard folio attached full time.
Apple support said the battery health was 95% after running the diagnostic but of course, I could not see the results. Most everything in the background is turned off like background refresh.
I was thinking of upgrading to iPad OS 15 but not sure if that would make a difference to the battery life.
Of course, we can't see the battery health as iPad OS doesn't have that feature like iOS does.
So does anyone think going to 15 would be a benefit or have any other suggestions? Is the folio causing battery drain? Anything else?
Thanks.
