iPad iPad 16 Lightroom better than MacBook Air M1?

Would the new iPad run Lightroom better than my MacBook Air M1? My M1 runs it pretty slow. I have a Mac mini m4 which runs it AWESOME! But when I’m out shooting photos an iPad is lighter than my MacBook that doesn’t run it well and obviously lugging around a Mini and a monitor isn’t ideal.

I would say unlikely... less RAM but you are also asking whether the A16 variant chip is faster than M1. Not seen benchmarks but have doubts....

Maybe it's the difference between the base chip and the Pro (and the RAM), but my M1 Pro MBP is anything but slow when it comes to Lightroom. I know the new M4 is a good upgrade, but my M1 Pro is plenty capable.
