My ex went all medieval on one of my kids' iPads. There are pics etc on it that my daughter would like to save. Couldn't get it to power on no matter what I tried, so I took it apart down to the metal.

Is it possible to transplant the logic board into another iPad 2 2nd Gen and rescue the data? Would be nice if there was a solution like we have with a hard drive and a universal adapter to connect it to USB etc.

That's how I disassembled the broken iPad 2. Was more looking for if anyone else had tried the transplant. What I have to lose is what I spend on the new host iPad 2, which may render it broken as well
