As I said in the title, I have an iPad 2 3G (AT&T) on 4.3 but no saved blobs. Can I upgrade to 4.3.3 and jailbreak, or is the shsh blob required for that? If I can't, should I just upgrade to 5.0? What about the baseband?

SHSH blobs are required. All you can do at this point is upgrade to iOS 5.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of. Oh well, guess I might as well check out iOS 5. Should I do anything about preserving baseband for future jailbreaking potential? I don't really care about any unlocking. Thanks for the help!

iPad's sold in the US and most other counties are already unlocked. There is no need to preserve the baseband on an iPad.
