iPad 2 64GB 3G.., or 16GB 3G + iPod touch

Hi folks,

I'm in a market for an iPad 2, but I'm in a dilemma of whether I should keep my iPod touch 32GB and get an iPad 2 16GB 3G, or should go all out for a 64GB 3G and let go of my iPod.

I'm a person who loves to store everything I have on a mobile device, hence 64GB, yet I still prefer the mobility of the iPod touch. Though the inconvenience is that the iPod does not support 3G, and Wi-Fi is hard to come by when I'm traveling.

My music on my iPod occupies around 24GB and there's barely enough space for my photos. I was thinking of an iPad to store my photos instead, and I would appreciate having photos and Accordance Bible Software on the real screen estate of the iPad.

Prior to this I'm lugging around a 15" MBP for all my stuff, and frankly it's kinda cumbersome carrying a laptop to church.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Given that an iPad isn't pocketable, I'd say it's not too practical for using as a sole media player. I'd recommend the 16GB and keep the touch.

id also have to agree. I love my ipad but it isnt a music player, in fact after using it for a couple weeks I just took my music off of it so I could have more space for movies. Pandora also is a great subsitute to that. Furthermore if you are only getting the iPad for the 3g connectivity. You might want to try and purchase a mifi on ebay ($40) and you can pay as you go. That way you save the money off the ipad and still get internet connectivity on your touch... Just a cheaper alternative.
