Hi all,
I have iPad Air 2 (Wi-Fi) - A1566

It is not turning on in anyway, tried all possible resets and iTunes options. Dead.

I have now replaced battery and I can feel the heat from the logic board once in charge but display is completely dead and iTunes is not recognizing the device.

Any ideas? Even if I have a dead lcd/glass shouldn’t iTunes connect with the iPad?

I’m trying to assess if buying a new lcd could be the solution or just money wasted if it is a logic board issue.
Tks! 👍🏻

Is the device itself making any weird noises?

no, no particular noise. CPU is hot and it looks like electric current is flowing. it seems quite "normal" except from the display and iTunes not recognizing any device.
