iPad 2 and dock connector -- hard to plug in?

Is it just me, or does the iPad 2 not like older dock connectors? I had a bit of a fuss trying to connect the dock connector I got with my iPod Touch 4G on it. It fit, but really tightly.

Yes it's a pain, I think the ipad2 connector is on a slight angle because the ipad2 is so thin. You have to get it positioned just right for it to go in.

Same challenge with the iT4. Can hardly get it to fit on a clock radio. I wish Apple had flattened it out at that point.

you can always take the white plastic off and It'll fit anything..
