New 64GB 3G AT&T in black arrives tomorrow.

I have installed the latest version of iTunes and updated all my apps.

Do I just make a back up from my iPad and use it to restore everything to the iPad 2 or will iTunes recognize it and ask to move everything to the new device?

Also I bought the the 3 year warranty. Is this mailed to you separately? It is not shipping with my cover and camera connection kit.

I think because it is a new version of iOS it won't let you restore from your old back up, but you can just set up as a new iPad and then transfer everything over. That really isn't that hard to do. You can even arrange the way your apps appear right from iTunes. :D

Also to answer your question apple care will be shipped separately. Doesn't make much sense to me but that is just the way apple does it I guess.

Just sync/back-up your IP1. When you plug in your IP2, you'll be given the option to base the new profile on the old one. Not only will you have all your documents and apps, but settings (even browser book marks) as well.

I'm afraid I don't know about the warantee.
