all of a sudden, in Maps, I always get a pop-up that says 'cannot determine location'. this didn't happen when I first go it. so now I can't use it to find directions from place to place, and Find my iPad won't work either. what happened..? I never changed anything, Location services is on in Settings. also it's a wi-fi only model.

still not working for me.. :(
is it the wi-fi network maybe?
the "Cannot determine location" pops up first thing when I open Maps.

This is really unusual, location services should work when connected to a Wi-Fi network. I would advise you to turn Wi-Fi off and on again on iPad settings, then check your internet connection to see if you have an active connection.

Turn location services on and off again in settings and make sure it is on next to Maps.

If you're near another Wi-Fi hotspot, connect to there and see if it works, if the issue still persists go to an Apple genius bar to resolve the issue. Also, make sure to update to the latest software version (currently 4.3.2).

I also experienced this issue for the first week or so owning my iPad, but it seems to have resolved itself over time. No idea what the original cause of the issue was.
