iPad 2 Car Mount for 8th Gen Honda Civic

Anyone have any details about a car mount that would work well with an 8th Generation Honda Civic?

I found many solutions but none seem to suit this Civic well because of how the centre console is laid out.

I've got an '02 celica. Nothing I've been able to find (that you can actually buy) seems any good. I thought about just getting one of those seat-frame mounted ones they use for laptops and such but it just seems clunky. I've decided to (eventually) just go the custom dash route. Because my center console is so thin (width wise) I'll have to have the iPad in portrait but it's not THAT big of a deal. I contemplated replacing my gauges with it but it seemed like a LOT (and i mean a LOT) of work to make it look nice, plus it would be permanently destroying the dash, vs the center console which can be easily (though not cheaply) replaced.

Also makes it easier for a passenger to use.

Yeah it really doesn't seem like there is a "nice fit" solution for most japanese cars. Hopefully something will come up soon, or someone can let us know what they've discovered!

I thought the scosche thing was cool but could never find any place you could actually buy it.

cc2k4: I agree, seems like most american car dashes are wide enough to use the ipad in landscape even if they have to make a custom enclosure.
