iPad 2 Car Mount

Anyone have any experience with RAM Mounts?

I've been looking for a nice mount for the iPad 2 in the car and this one looks good to me.

Only issue i can foresee might be a lot of vibration with the 18" gooseneck rod.

That seems a lot for a mount... I'm looking for a solution like that as well but in my research this looks like a better (& much cheaper) option:
