When I press on my iPad 2's screen, it makes the sound of air coming out of it, as if there is a crack somewhere. It's really annoying but I'm just wondering if it happens to all iPads.

Video here

Do you guys have the 3G version?
Mine is and I'm guessing it's the plastic 3G antenna That's causing this.

Did you install the Whoopie Cushion app?

Seriously, I think it's a bit of a red herring to ask if this is "normal". It's both normal and abnormal. It's abnormal because no one, besides you, pushes on their iPad hard enough to make it squeeze out air. OTOH, it's normal, because if you push on any iPad hard enough, it will probably squeeze out air.

I'm pushing it this hard just to make the sound. Normally I don't but the sound is still there, just not as loud. I'm pretty sure people playing garageband will hit it harder than me.

I have the ATT 3G 32GB and it is solid as a rock.
You need to take yours back!
That's not normal.:(

Head into an Apple store , press all the demo Ipad2 they have if they makes a sounds your good otherwise get it replaced.
