iPad 2 doesn't work with projector?

(...that was the title I previously wanted to make.) Works great HDMI to HDMI connection on HD TV. But, doens't work with HDMI connection on projector. Ideas? Tried just about everything including using a power cable attached with the HDMI adapter. Hopefully, Apple will get this fixed quickly....I have noticed a large number of businesses that have bought this new iPad with the intent of using it for projecting in meetings/presentations. Our company included.

you can always use the VGA adapter that the iPad 1 already had, as a workaround.

Thanks. Yes, that's what we are doing....for now. And, actually, the picture isn't too bad. But, would be nice to have the hdmi functionality for an even sharper picture.
