I was at the Apple Store Saturday morning after release, no luck, Tuesday morning starting at 7, no luck, Thursday morning at 7, got my 32 Gig Black Wifi. Love it

I gave up on the Apple store and got the one I wanted from Target. 64GB Black AT&T 3G.

Ordered online at 4am so I'd be sure to get the one I wanted--black 32gb wifi.

These cost too much to settle for less than the model you want. I will say it was dumb to launch with 18 different models. If you're going to try that you better have a ton of stock available at launch or else your adding consumer frustration by having limited stock split across too many models making it hard for some to get the model they want without waiting a long time.

I got two on launch day. White & Black 64GB Wi-Fi models, both have/had light leak.

I returned them both this week and got two replacement iPads both also have light leak but they are better than the first two.

I think I'll wait a few months for things to get smoother with the iPad production and see if they fix the light leak issue. Then I can get them replaced with hopefully problem free iPads.
