iPad 2 exchange

So I bought an iPad 2 in July this year and everything has been good with it so far. But just this month, I have noticed that its battery life has gone really bad. Now I usually only get around 3 hours of use, but I usually get around 8-10 when I first got it. Is it possible to exchange it for a new iPad 2 at my local retail Apple Store? My iPad is running iOS 5.0, but my battery has been acting up since iOS 4.3.3

Apple has acknowledge a software bug that effects battery life and an update to fix it is several weeks away.
