iPad 2 flashes Apple logo and lock screen?

My iPad 2 is currently unusable.. ever since I charged it, any time I try to use it, it flashes the Apple logo and the lock screen back and forth, not allowing me to do anything.

Anybody ever seen a problem like this?

I've done a hard reset but it hasn't helped.

UPDATE: Just did a restore, and I still have the problem. If it's unclear from the description, let me know and I can try to shoot a video.

Both with same result.

Yes, this happened after I connected to the wall charger.

Why ?
