iPad 2 freezing

In the last few days, my iPad 2 (purchased in November) has been randomly freezing (sometimes when browsing the net, sometimes in apps, and sometimes just at the home screen!). This has never been an issue and it's becoming prominent. Any thoughts??

running to of memory. try clearing out any open apps in the app switcher.

also a good old reboot every once in a while always helps.

How often do you shut down and restart the iPad? When I have found my iPad (soon to be known as old iPad) not running the way it should, I reboot it and that usually helps.

In all seriousness, try a reboot, and clean the browser cache!

I have only turned this iPad off a handful of times and haven't cleared the cache...possibly ever. I will reboot and clear that; thanks for the suggestions!
