So apparently the new iPad 2's glass screen is thinner then the original iPad 1.
So does this mean that the new screen is more fragile? Not necessarily.
Apparently the new glass is also more flexible according to this guy from iSuppli:
"According to iSuppli analyst Wayne Lam, there's a major difference between the physical properties of the glass used in the two iPads. The original tablet's glass was "brittle" and "delicate," said Lam, because it was thicker and isolated from the load bearing case because the glass was fixed to the case with metal clips."
So what have you guys noticed with the new screens? Is it indeed more flexible? Has anyone had any accidents or dropped theirs yet?
