iPad iPad 2 (GSM) stuck in soft DFU mode

Greetings,

I have an iPad 2 (Not Jailbroken) stuck in Soft DFU mode (according to redsn0w 0.9.15b3)

I'm unable to restore via iTunes as it will just hang at the Apple Logo with the Progress Bar (0%) for 2hrs

Screen is black (but is in some kind of DFU mode). Unable to boot into recovery mode. Tried the Power + Home button and it will just again boot into the Soft DFU state. Unable to fully shut down.

Do anyone of you have any idea how to rectify this problem?

Same issue, but with an iPad 4... haven't found any solution myself
