iPad 2 iKit Carbon Case

Just wondering is anyone else getting the iKit Carbon Black case? Anyone have any experience with the brand? Btw cases are universal between wifi only and 3G+WiFi models right?

iKit seems to be a based out of the U.K. So hopefully I it will have European product quality. I am a Big european wannabe :D German car, European clothes, and now hopefully a high quality English iPad case that prevent damage to my handheld. Or I would feel like a dummy and should have just bought one off amazon.
 
Everyone is trying to make their cases "look" like carbon fiber, why don't they USE carbon fiber? For these prices they could for sure!

Whatever this means, as if Europe is the only place quality products are made. What an uninformed statement. :rolleyes:
 
I like it, not bad price with included screen protector. Their leather Exec case seems to have no speaker cutout? maybe I'm wrong.

Multi-layered CF, with UV protection on a case this size would cost closer to $100. Anyone that races motorcycles or cars can attest to the cost of CF.

Hello.

We have had an issue where by our iPad 2 Carbon Cases have been sitting in Customs for one week now and there is nothing we can do to speed it up.

We have been in talks with UPS and we have been finally been informed that we will now get our delivery latest Monday 4th April 2011. We will try our best to get this out same day, if not it will be Tuesday 5th April 2011 in the morning latest, by express delivery.

We fully understand the frustration you have as do we and it is unusual for customs to hold shipments for such a long period of time and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.

If you want a refund please do let us know by Monday 4th April before 10AM and we will provide it within 24 hours.

Hell ya brotha, real carbon fiber is weaved, it’s a fabric that is weaved very tight to give it such strength with minimal weight.

At least they had the decency to get back to you. They messaged me nearly two weeks ago saying it would arrive on the 31st and on that day Nada

It's now April 6th and still.....nada. what a shame. If this case ever does come, It will probably be last product I'd recommend anyone in terms of customer service.

I emailed asking, mine arrived today sadly I am out of town
 
Got mine today, fit and finish is excellent. I'm very happy with it.

Anyone that has theirs yet, have you considered modifying yours so a smart cover will fit?
