In my self-loathe at being an Apple sheep and fruitlessly lining up and calling each day, I check out ebay for iPad 2. HOLY SMOKES. I can't believe that many people are trying (and likely will suceed) in ripping off others in selling scalped products.

This has to have a very real impact on the shortage for the "average" consumer.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

Well, I've bought an ipad2 from eBay US for a little less than I would have to pay for it in the UK on 25th. And no queuing. Who's being ripped off?

Agreed, but I sense a self-righteous, egotistical, free-market-economy, you-should've-got-in-line-or-ordered-online-sooner, capitalist, stuck-up and altogether snobbish comment coming in 4, 3, 2...
