Hi,
I have a peculiar problem now in 2024.
i had Phoenix Jailbreak installed on iPad 2, running iOS 9.3.5 & i factory reset it directly without UN-JAILBREAK.

Now, its stuck on ACTIVATION FAILED (Cannot reach apple servers)

I have done the DFU restore to iOS 9.3.5 but still shows ACTIVATION FAILED.
Could it be the earlier Jailbreak still playing around with fresh install?

I went to Apple also , they just told me they don't activate old iPAD's anymore and i should exchange and buy a new one.

BTW - there is no iCloud LOCK on this iPad 2. Infact iCLOUD and iTUNES is logged out.

I can temporarily use "iRemove Tools" to bypass the ACTIVATION FAILED screen, but it keeps locking every few hours itself or on every restart.

Please help me resolve - i just want to put a clean UN-JAILBREAOKEN OS back.

Unfortunately the failure persists for a while, we can not call it a failure, I believe Apple revoked the certificates that activated the iOS prior to 10. So who has iOS 10 can activate normally, but before that forgets, at least for now.
