Hi all,

Purchased 2 iPads on European launch day, both black 16 wifi's. Mine has a small piece of dust, or dirt underneath the screen, which is very noticeable when viewing something on a White back ground, I still find myself trying to brush it away! My girlfriends device has some pretty big light leaks rights across the bottom of the screen.

I want to get your opinions on returns, the store we bought it from was an apple concession store within a tech supermarket store, they have no stock, and aren't expecting any for another 3-4 weeks. So, is it best to contact apple and raise the issue with them, send the devices away and get refurb units, that could still be bad, or wait a few weeks and try to get a new device from the store we bought it from. Or will the elapsed time give problems.

Any advice and thoughts are appreciated! :)

If the Apple Store brick and mortar is out of your reach, call Applecare, get a case going, and have them swap/replace them, that dust maybe dead pixels!
