Hi,
I bought yesterday an iPad 2 Wifi 32GB, it's perfect except that sometimes arbitrarily crashes and restarts...
How many times? 5 times in one day (of which 3 times while in sleep)...

No backup restored, I just initialized it as new and then loaded some apps from my iTunes

It seems that others had the same problem, any news?
How did you solve?
Today I updated to 4.3.1 and let's see what happens

Thank you

Take it back ASAP and exchange for new one. Five random reboots is not normal. My guess is that there is too much or too little thermal paste on the chip causing it to overheat too quickly.

I've never experienced a random reboot on either of my iPads (1 or 2). Not once. I have experience a random reboot on my iPhones though, but only after extended use in hot-ish weather.

I had one random reboot on the 2nd day I owned it. Hasn't happened since so think it might just have been a one off. I hope.
