iPad 2 on Sale at Apple Store

I live in the East Coast and I would like to order the iPad 2 immediately as it is in the Apple Store. What time does it come on sale in the East coast? I think I read that it was on 11th of March at 5:00 AM. So 12 hours earlier then the Apple retail stores. Is this information correct or not?
