I purchased an iPad 2 on release day in the uk from pc world against my better judgement. The power button shiny covering has started to chip away leaving black matt underneath. Having looked at display models in store all the power buttons were different to mine, mine being shiny the store ones being matt. Just wondering if anyone else has any problems with this? is your power button shiny or matt?

when taking it back to pcworld they said i had damaged it myself, even though i have had it in a case since i got it home.

Well mine is matte, but I guess you could call that shiny.. It does have a tiny gloss, but it's a dull gloss, not like chrome..

It almost looks like that black part can peel off. Almost like a sticker, it's raised and definitely doesn't belong there.
