iPad 2 really does seem FAST

The first iPad felt shockingly fast when it showed up but wow, that's some serious speed boost there. I was thinking of picking up the first one for cheap but that speed is too tempting.

The first iPad felt shockingly fast when it showed up but wow, that's some serious speed boost there. I was thinking of picking up the first one for cheap but that speed is too tempting.

I still cringe every time I see that checkerboard pattern on the page loads, but it does indeed look a lot faster.
