iPad 2 release Tuesday, 8 March??

9-5mac looks like they have some evidence pointing to a release on the 8th or close to that date...Sounds about right.

Apple is holding a conference the 2nd March, Wednesday, about tablets...
They will be announcing it then, and probably it will be in stores a week later, the presumed 8th March.

A week from the media event would be March 9th, not 8th.

Eh, I wouldn't hold my breath for such an imminent release. Apple doesn't have a track record of doing so for their most popular iOS devices (read: iPhone, iPad).

I'll believe a pre-order start date one week from Wednesday, but not in store to purchase.

However, that said, I hope I'm wrong!
