iPad 2 Replacements

So what happens when you get an iPad 2 replacement? As in warranty, etc. because the serial/imei and etc are all different.

Do you have to register it somewhere? Or do they know because of your apple id?

Just wondering because I got my first iPad replaced because of black light issues, the replacement has less leak, but still leaks. Can I wait till the problem is solved then get another replacement?

Did you receive the replacement via an Apple store?

When the store enters the exchange in the system the new information is recorded with Apple and the warranty still runs from the date of purchase of the original iPad.

Yeah, they had to order me one because they were out.

It was there next day~!
