I've upgraded to an iPad Air and I've been trying to sell my 64gb wifi only iPad 2. I'd like to get as much as 290 for it, but every offer I get tries to lowball me for $250. Is $250 a reasonable price for an iPad 2? Or are these people just trying to get an iPad for extra cheap?

Depending on the condition $250 to $290 is reasonable.

Think you're overestimating the 64 gb value. Think $250 is a fair value.

You always lose more percentage of the original value when selling a "higher model/capacity" compared to the base model.

As your example shows, hundreds of dollars of free money you give to Apple for memory upgrade turns into at most $20 when you sell it. The ability to have all your videos on the tablet is way overrated. It's the same as people take their car out of the garage and fill the garage with tons of junk and claim they need all of it! 16GB is plenty, don't give away free money to greedy companies, you don't print money!

That's right. I was able to sell my 32GB AT&T Mini yesterday for $325. Had lots of lowball offers and this was the only one who didn't even offer a lower offer.

When you go for a trip or take plane often, you will feel 16GB is not enough. I used to have my iOS devices jailbroken so I can use iFiles and use the camera connection kits as expandable sforage. But that is lots of hassles.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually had 2 iPad 2s, both the same model. I got $280 for one and $260 for the other.
