iPad 2 Shows in iTunes, iPhone 4s Doesn't

My iPad is always accessible in iTunes, but my iPhone 4s only shows when it's plugged in to the computer. When I eject the iPhone, it is no longer registered in iTunes; when I eject the iPad, it's always "there" and the Summary data is accessible.

How can I get my iPhone to show in iTunes when it isn't connected to the computer?

Enable wifi sync on your 4s from iTunes when the phone is plugged into the computer. It will show up even when not plugged into the computer (as long as you're on the same wifi network) thereafter.
