iPad 2 speaker versus 1st gen ipad speaker

Does anyone know if the iPad 2 speaker is more powerful than that in the original iPad? Thanks.

The speaker on my iPad 1 is strong enough at upper mid volume to make my screen vibrate, which can make listening to music while doing other things (involving your fingers on it) a little unpleasant. I was informed that the iPad 2 does not vibrate at full volume, so the speaker must be just about right.

The iPad 2 speaker is supposed to be better.

I find the iPad 2 speaker much better much louder and clearer in my opinion. I find the difference between the orginal and the iPad 2 to be very noticeable.

Before ordering my iPad 2 I had spent a day playing with the iPad 2 and found the updated speaker to be clearer and seems to handle bass better.
