That picture is taken while restoring in dfu mode.

Well, if you are sure it was in DFU mode (screen stays black while iTunes says it found an iPad in recovery mode), and it's not restoring, then you likely have a hardware failure and you need to call Applecare or get a Genius bar appointment and have them take a look at it.

Im sure.

I cant bring him in since i dont have the receipt so they wont accept him for warranty.

What can do?

I've never had to show a receipt to get genius bar service. I just call and make an appointment. They never ask for receipts.

Maybe in ur country but i brought him to a apple service center and they would not accept it.

Well, sorry to hear that. What country are you in? You don't have any Apple store, or an Applecare# you can call? I take it "Apple service center" is an authorized repair store, not Apple themselves.

You did check to make sure you are using the correct ipsw file for your iPad, right?

Belgium, there arent really apple stores or genious bars arroubd here. Only resellers called switchstores and all they do is send phones to repair centers, they know ***** about idevices.

Yes im sure about the ipsw, i've downloaded manu ipsw from different sites including official apple site.

I think the ipad is dead, its like a zombie, alive but still dead

Get Tiny Umbrella and do the fix recovery and it may ask you to kill a PID on your mac.
I had the same problem when I wiped my iPad 1 to sell and had to use Tiny Umbrella kill that PID and restore as new.

I used tinyumbrela on windows, i pressed "fixe recovery" and when i press that, the ipad keeps restarting the whole time and after 15 minutes u can see te itunes icon again!!

So tinyumbrela does not work

If you see the itunes icon its in recovery mode not in DFU mode.

Did you follow the right procedure and have it in DFU mode?

I used the 10 seconds DFU methode, as wel as the redsnow DFU methode.

I also downloaded the firmware from other sites beside apples itunes.

What more can i try??

Ok that rules out a downgrade.

Did you try on a different computer or on a mac? Or different usb port?
Also switch of fierwalls/anti-virus.

It should work from DFU MODE

Tried on 3pc's and 1 mac. (some with and some without antivirus- firewall)

Different usb ports

Nothing seems to work

Amsterdam has an Apple store now, propably closest for Belgium, suggest to try get a replacement there.

I cant because i dont have warranty anymore. I could bring it to a apple repair center (ARC) in brussels.

They are official so they can erase everything and restore the IOS right?

i don't know if they can, usually if these steps dont't work than your are stuck with a dead machine, if out of warranty than buying a new one is likely.

5.1 is dropping soon, you can wait and see if maybe a stock update might work.

Did you try that by the way? In DFU-mode try to hit restore or recovery tried restore to stock?

As soon as 5.1 drops and apple stops signing 5.0.1 you will lose your ability to jailbreak.
