Does anyone know of anywhere doing iPad 2 style cases for iPhones - eg with a hard screen cover that you can open/close like a book.

I wanna keep my iPhone in my front pocket where I usually have keys or coins, but obv they'll end up smashing the screen if it's not covered.

Just looking for something that'll protect the screen but without bulking out the phone unnecessarily.

Have you checked out the thread for "Book Book"?

I don't any case that's folio style for iPhone 4, but there are plenty of flip style cases. I was looking at this Yoobao case, but opted for its little brother for lightness. It might be something for you though:

Yeah, have seen a few leather ones, and the Book Book, but the leather makes them bulky.

Also I've got 3GS which I realise limits me even more, but I just can't believe in 4 years no-one's gone 'you know what'd be good for keeping an iPhone in your front pocket - a hardened flip open case'.

:)
