Is there any reason to believe that a Targus stylus that works for iPad 1 will not work on iPad 2? I only ask because this one is 3x cheaper than this one (I think it's just because of added functions that I don't need). I would love to order one tonight since I'm going to Africa and would love to use my iPad as a journal as well as for a reader.

Anyone using this one on their iPad 2? Thanks so much!

I paid $15 for the cheaper one and like it a lot. You might want to consider the Just Digital Alupen too.

This is a joke right?

I'm not sure what part you think is a joke.

Or maybe I do  I was viewing from the amazon app and the details in the side bar are a condensed version that does not mention iPad 2 compatibility. But the full link that I provided clearly says that it is compatible.

My bad.

Yes, I can confirm that it works. :) I wouldn't go for the expensive one and can almost assure you that you will find those $11 well spent. It is well suited to the iPhone/iTouch too. By the way, the name of the other stylus that I mentioned above is made by Just Mobile and not Just Digital.

These Styli are universal, meaning they'll work with anything that has a capacitive display.. There's no such thing as a stylus designed specifically for a certain device
